OCI after surrender of Indian passport

Hi can I apply for OCI first or need to surrender Indian passport first?

Hello Ravi, it is mandatory to surrender your Indian passport after obtaining foreign nationality. Once you receive the surrender certificate you can apply for an OCI as that is one of the requirements needed to submit and complete an OCI application.
