Hello i am going to Amritsar next month, any advice on what to shop?

Amritsar lays out a huge number of options for the ladies. Salwar suits, jutis, jewellery and trinkets are found in abundance in the shops of Amritsar. Religious paraphernalia like khandas, Karas (sikh religious bangle), swords, daggers and Sikh symbols made in metals etc are popular among pilgrims visiting the Golden Temple. The traditional Phulkari work and sandalwood carvings are also some of the famous things in Amritsar that are found in Kapra Market. Amritsar is very famous for woollen garments like shawls, sweaters and mufflers. These are high quality woollen items and they are found in Hall Bazar. Blankets and carpets woven by the rural women of Punjab are also sold in Amritsar.
