Going India first time

Dear oceans travel, i want to travel to India for the first time when tourism opens. Can you advise me?

India is a very big country, and the weather differs from place to place. So the best travel time depends on which part of the country you wish to visit, mostly October to March is ideal.

Some of my indian friends told me to visit Golden triangle?

The Golden Triangle is India’s famous tourist route, and for good reason. The route connects the popular destinations including the capital city of Delhi to Agra and Jaipur. Along this route you will see magnificent forts and palaces, busy bazaars and much more. It is a must see. And as for when to travel, October to March time would be ideal as these months have the most pleasant weather, unlike the rest of the months when is really hot or when is monsoon season.

Flying to Delhi would be advisable as that would be the best place to start your route from. One the most renowned places to visit in Delhi is the Red Fort, that gets its name from the walls of red sandstone, situated in Old Delhi. It has become a UNESCO World Heritage site due to its historical and cultural significance. India Gate is another tourist place which is a memorial to the Indian soldiers killed in the WW I. Jama Masjid is also worth a visit as it is one of the largest mosques in India.

Agra is the home of one of the wonders of the world, Taj Mahal. It is a mausoleum of white marble, built by the Emperor Shah Jahan in memory of his wife, Mumtaz Mahal.
