Air India flight from London -Delhi than to mumbai

Hi I had a query. I have a return ticket for London Heathrow to Delhi then to Mumbai, can I skip the flight Delhi to mumbai but return still use it?

But i was thinking to get a train with some family from there but on the way back i am still thinking to use the same ticket?

When you buy an air ticket you must take all the flights on the ticket exactly in order. If you miss one of the flights, the airline will classify it as a no show and automatically your entire ticket, and all remaining flight reservations on that ticket, will be cancelled. Also your baggage will be retrieved at the final destination.

So what will I do for the return trip then?

You will then have to purchase a new ticket for your return journey.
