Proof of vaccination to return from India

My cousin is coming to UK from India and got his vaccines there. Will the Indian proof of vaccination be acceptable here in UK?

Hello Manjinder, unapproved vaccines are not being accepted by the UK government. Therefore the Indian vaccination certificate will not be considered for the quarantine exemptions. The following rule will apply: not vaccinated people are required to home quarantine for 10 days and pre book two Covid-19 tests to be taken on day 2 and day 8 after arrival.
