New OCI card after renewal of passport?

Hi I already have an OCI card but do i have to apply for a new OCI card every time I renew my British passport?

Hello Ajay, you are not required to apply for a new OCI card every time your British passport gets renewed. You only are required to update the new passport number on the online system by submitting an online application along with the current passport copy.
