Visiting Amritsar city in India

Hi, I want to travel to Amritsar for the first time, any suggestions on what to visit?

Walkable distance from the Golden Temple is Jallianwala Bagh which is a memorial of national importance in Amritsar and it is in memory of those killed and injured in the Jallianwala Bagh Massacre that occurred on the festival of Baisakhi. Also located in the city centre is Gobindgarh Fort, a historic military fort built in the 18th century, was occupied by the army and only recently has been opened to the public.
