Why is April good to visit Golden Temple and Amritsar?

I've been told Amritsar is best to visit in April month, why is that?

Hello Varun, if you have been told to visit Amritsar and the Golden Temple in April is because around 13th or 14th of the month the festival of Vaisakhi, also pronounced Baisakhi, is celebrated amongst the Sikh and Hindu community, and you will encounter a heavy mass of devotees. It is an auspicious day and the celebrations are at their peak so it is the best time to enjoy them.
